Maddie and Shawn

This past Saturday Ashley and I photographed Maddie and Shawn's Urbandale wedding. It was a beautiful fall day in Iowa again and we got outside as soon we could. I can't even start to explain how much fun these two are. They are constantly posing for the camera and changing the pose and having fun with it. You will see what I mean below. We didn't tell them what to do, they just knew what to do.


Maddie and Shawn are both performers. Shawn even performed a song during the ceremony itself. Their outgoing personalities really show through in the photos. When two people find each other, love each other, and are meant to be together you can really see it. There is no question that these two are going to be together for the rest of their lives.


Following the evening ceremony the reception was held at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City. It is a beautiful golf course during the day, but with an evening reception it didn't do much for photos. It was the first time that we had shot at the Tournament Club of Iowa and it is a beautiful location. The day was beautiful, the couple was beautiful, and you can see a little taste below. Congratulations Maddie and Shawn!
