Alexander - I Love Des Moines Contest

A while back we ran our I Love Des Moines Contest. We had a photo with 10 letters from around the Des Moines area spelling out Nuzum Photo. Meet our winner....Mellissa and Andy...and Alexander technically. These are Alexander's one year photos. The were shot in the area of the sculpture garden and Locust, a favorite spot of ours recently. The cake smashing is a fun photo and luckily this one was done outside which makes it all that much better. Check out some of our favorites below...

I Love Des Moines Contest

Welcome to our 2011 I Love Des Moines contest. Ashley and I are born and raised right here in beautiful Des Moines, IA. We love it here and you should too. Study the photo above. There are ten photos of letters from the Downtown Des Moines Area spelling out "Nuzum Photo." Then fill in our entry form on our contest page with your guesses as to the locations of our letters. Be as specific as possible. Name of the building, address, the business, ANYTHING to better explain where you think the letter is located. Don't worry if you only know 8 or 5 or 2. Someone is going to win, so you might as well enter.



RULES: One entry per person. Entry must be received by 03/31/11 at 11:59:59PM. The winner of the contest will have guessed the most correct locations. If more than one person has the most correct answers a random drawing will be held to determine the winner. Correctness of answers will be at our discretion. Our decisions are final.



PRIZE: The winner of the contest will receive a photo shoot (normally no cost anyway,) the digital negatives with print release, $100 print credit, and a 20"x30" metal print. (how cool is that?) The photo shoot could be a family photo shoot, a day after wedding, trash the dress, kids, newborn, boudoir, engagement....pretty much anything.

New Engagement Video Contest!

Ashley and I are excited about this latest contest. We are going to be putting something new together. We are working on adding Engagement Story videos to our wedding packages. They aren't there yet, but to get us started we are going to be giving away two free ones! These videos will be like "behind the ring" for your engagement. We will sit you down talk to you about meeting and getting engaged. Shoot some photos and video and then mix it all together into a quick video that tells your story....sound fun? We think so too. So how to win one?

Step 1: Take an awesome self portrait of you and your fiance like these below.

Step 2: Send an email with that photo attached plus your name and phone number to Contest@myfrozenmoment.com

Step 3: We will select one couple based on the skill and creativity displayed in the self portrait and one random winner from all the rest. TWO winners!



So who's eligible. This contest is open to any engaged couple who will not be married before June 30, 2010. You may already be booked with us, still eligible. You may have already had your engagement photos taken, still eligible.



The Simple Rules:

1. Must be engaged and not getting married before June 30, 2010.

2. Must send photo and contact info before March 31, 2010. Winner will be notified on April 14, 2010.

3. Must schedule and complete the video shoot before June 30, 2010.

4. Your self portrait and final video will be posted to our blog sometime after the shoot.

Newborn Photo Shoot Contest

 

We will be giving away 3 newborn photo shoots including all digital negatives on DVD. We will select winners based on how interesting and creative the baby name story is.  Winner's will be selected as the contest continues, due to the nature of the short window to complete the photo shoot.  Babies must be photographed before they are 2 weeks old. Photo shoots can take place in studio or in your home.

Select photos from each winner and the baby name story will be posted to our blog.

Free Engagement Sessions

Nuzum Photo is giving away two free engagement sessions in the month of May.  All you have to do is send an email to contest@myfrozenmoment.com with your name, wedding date, and your most creative location for engagement photos and you will be in the running.  We will select two entries for the free engagement session based on the location they selected.  The two winners will have their engagement photos shot at that location.  They will receive all images on disc along with a copyright release.  Hurry and enter today.  Selections will be made on June 1st, 2008.
