Kristi and Jeff

Ashley and I photographed Kristi and Jeff's wedding in Denison, IA. The weather so far this October has been unreal and this particular Saturday was no exception. The skies were bright blue with a splattering of puffy white clouds at times. Fall weddings in the Midwest are without equal. You can have your beach weddings in SoCal, I will take the fall weddings of Iowa.


This was our first trip to Denison for a wedding, but not our last. We will be back there next week. The locations around town were great. We hit a park and headed to the reception at the Boulders Conference Center. Kristi and Jeff were a ton of fun. They had a cake and also a cake of donuts. How cool is that? I told Ashley that if we did it all over again, I would have a cake of donuts.
