Jennifer and Justin - Our Biggest Blog Post EVER!

I don't even know where to start with this wedding. There are so many amazing stories to tell. Jennifer and Justin were married in Sully, Iowa with the reception in near by Lynnville, IA. You may remember Jennifer and Justin from this snow filled engagement session. Ashley was just a few days away form delivering Parker, so she was not able to make the trip. Brian and Kaylee were along and did an amazing job shooting this wedding with me. It's no secret that some weddings turn out better pictures than others. There are many factors that effect the overall final images. In this case, it was a perfect storm of many little things. First, the couple made photos a priority. Second, the location was amazing. Third, we had great weather and beautiful cloud filled skies. Fourth, we had an amazing couple.

I will tell my favorite story of the day. Brian, Kaylee, and I were heading to the reception and the bridal party got a little jump on us as we were tearing down equipment. The drive from Sully to Lynnville is not that far and I know my way around the area so we weren't concerned about getting lost. We get into Lynnville and see the limo sitting at a convenience store. Pretty typical on a wedding day for the bridal party to stop and partake in some drinks (alcoholic or not.) So we headed down the road to the reception site where we could still see the limo and be able to capture them as they were arriving at the reception site. After a few minutes the limo starts to take off and goes the other way.... ok .... think fast. What's going on.... so we head to the reception site to find that the limo had gone STRAIGHT to the reception site to drop off the wedding party. So for the first time in 90 weddings...I chased an empty limo.

Congratulations to Jennifer and Justin.
Amazing. Beautiful. Without equal.
