Christine and Derek

Kaylee, Chad, and I photographed Christine and Derek's wedding in Madrid, IA. It was the first wedding I've photographed in little Madrid, and also my first visit to Snus Hill Winery. Snus Hill Winery provided a beautiful backdrop for their reception. We also had the photo station outside at the reception allowing us to use mother nature as the backdrop for it. It was an amazing day.


Derek and Christine wanted more casual photos and not too many posed. We can definitely handle that. We would prefer to take less formals and more informal candids. AKA, the fun ones. So we spent a lot of time outside the church and at the winery taking candid formals.


I can't start to describe the love that these two share. I was in awe of the way the treated each other and the way the looked at one another. I made sure to tell them that before we left. It was simply beautiful. Congratulations Christine and Derek!
