Tara and Nick

This past weekend, Ashley and I photographed Tara and Nick's wedding.  The wedding was held in Ankeny, IA with the reception following at the Capitol Room in the East Village, Downtown, Des Moines, IA.  The weather was awesome as it has been all year.  Weddings have been unbelievable in 2009.  We can only hope that 2010 is more of the same.  Tara and Nick decided to see each other before the ceremony.  Ashley and I setup and coordinated a first sight for them as we do at many weddings.  These are easily one of our favorite moments.  When a couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day they are anxious, nervous, and excited.  You never know exactly how they will react to each other or what they will do or say.  But, they are all unique and truly a once in a lifetime experience.  Thanks to Tara, Nick, the wedding party, and the families.  Everyone was great throughout the entire day.  Below are a few of our favorites from the big day.  Congratulations Tara and Nick!
